When it comes to Indian school education, very few people can be termed as Global icon. Dr.Faooq Wasil is an educationist who is a renowned global icon in school education. He started his journey from "GEMS Our English School" in Dubai in 1986.He held the position of CBSE chairman for Gulf region from 2002 to 2003 , honoured with prestigious National Teacher award by former President of India, Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam in 2005. He is a Global Head for GEMS Education (Affordabale schools) , based in Dubai.
